Podcast - Nicole Sherzinger concert

Check out some other photos taken by me during Nicole Scherzinger's show, hope you like it! (sorry for the quality, they were taken by my iPhone).

Love, Raquel Volz Bell de Aquino

Here's an interview to Julia Lilo, a spanish girl that went to Nicole Sherzinger's gig at G-A-Y Heaven Club.

It was her first time at this venue and the first time that she watched Nicole live!

Nicole Scherzinger: Show at G-A-Y Heaven Nightclub in London

Nicole Scherzinger had this surprise gig at G-A-Y Heaven club here in London!

So for only £7 I had the amazing opportunity to see her live!

It was the first time I went to a gay club, but I really liked it! Everyone there was with only one goal: see this Diva acting live!

She sang around 10 songs, but here I show you only two of them since what I really wanted to do was enjoy the show :)

She had an amazing outfit, her makeup was gorgeous and she spread a great vibe to everyone there!

What I liked the most was that it wasn't too full since it was a surprise for her to be there to launch her new single "Boomerang". It was the first time I saw her live, and now I can definetly say I'm a fan of her work!

Bastille - Waht would you do?

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHppImpaofQ]

Boys and girls wanna hear a true story? Saturday night was at this real wild party There was liquor overflowing the cup About five or six strippers trying to work for a buck, So I took one girl outside with me Her name was Londi she went to junior high with me and said why you up in there dancing for cash? I guess a whole lot has changed since I seen you last, she said: What would you do if your son was at home Crying all alone on the bedroom floor Cause he’s hungry And the only way to feed him is to Sleep with a man for a little bit of money And his daddy’s gone In and out of lock down I got a job now he’s out smoking rock now So for you this is just a good time But for me this is what I call life Girl you ain’t the only one to have a baby That’s no excuse to be living all crazy so she stared me right square in the eye And said, “Everyday I wake up hoping to die.” She said, we gonna know about pain cause Me and my sister ran away so my daddy couldn’t rape us Before I was a teenager I done been through more shit you can’t even relate to What would you do if your son was at home Crying all alone on the bedroom floor Cause he’s hungry And the only way to feed him is to Sleep with a man for a little bit of money And his daddy’s gone In and out of lock down I got a job now he’s out smoking rock now So for you this is just a good time But for me this is what I call life (What would you do) Get up off my feet and stop making up tired excuses (What would …

Bastille - Flaws

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzRBoZb3GKw]

When all of your flaws and all of my flaws
Are laid out one by one
A wonderful part of the mess that we made
We pick ourselves undone

All of your flaws and all of my flaws
They lie there hand in hand
Ones we've inherited, ones that we learned
They pass from man to man

There's a hole in my soul
I can't fill it I can't fill it
There's a hole in my soul
Can you fill it? Can you fill it?

You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve
And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground
Dig them up; let's finish what we've started
Dig them up, so nothing's left unturned

All of your flaws and all of my flaws,
When they have been exhumed
We'll see that we need them to be who we are
Without them we'd be doomed

There's a hole in my soul
I can't fill it I can't fill it
There's a hole in my soul
Can you fill it? Can you fill it?

You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve
And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground
Dig them up; let's finish what we've started
Dig them up, so nothing's left unturned

Oooooh
Oooooh

When all of your flaws
And all of my flaws are counted
When all of your flaws
And all of my flaws are counted

You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve
And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground
Dig them up. Let's finish what we've started
Dig them up. So nothing's left unturned

Oooooh
Oooooh

All of your flaws and all of my flaws
Are laid out one by one
Look at the wonderful mess that we made
We pick ourselves undone

Duffy - Stepping Stone

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFjF64Mcaao?fs=1]

But I will never be your stepping stone
Take it all or leave me alone
I will never be your stepping stone
I'm standing upright on my own

You used to call me up from time to time
And it would be so hard for me not to cross the line
The words of love lay on my lips just like a curse
And I knew, oh yes, I knew they'd only make it worse

And now you have the nerve to play along
Just like the maestro beats in your song
You got your kicks, you get your kicks from playing me
And the less you give the more I want so foolishly

Stereo Jungle Rihanna

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBxt_v0WF6Y]

Have you already seen the new video of Rihanna? I found it amazing because all of it revolve around an African environment, even tribalistic if i might add. Since i was a little girl I always had a great fascination for going to Africa to make a Safari, this is because when I was about 3 years (yes I remember well) my mother told me how it was when she went to one and she was brought me a videotape (old school!) and I spent hours watching it. You could say that was undoubtedly when I was brainwashed, but what i'm really certain is certain I was always surrounded by this environment. My grandparents have always traveled a lot, and they collect African masks, stuffed animals... going through Egyptian things, which  without a doubt have always fascinated me too! Some day I will share with you some pictures :) Love, Rachel Aquino.

Caroline Costa - Amazing Voice

Descobri vídeos desta rapariga francesa, Caroline Costa, e tinha que partilhar convosco! A audição cativou-me (onde tinha apenas 12 anos), mas rendi-me completamente com os outros 2 vídeos que vos mostro aqui. Espero que gostem :) Lots of Love, R.
